Edward Bauer Obituary
Soon after their wedding, Ed and Linda moved to Sequim, Washington. There he worked with his father-in-law, Schuler Luce, in construction for a few years until he established his own businesses. These included a flooring company, real estate and Bauer Interior Design, which he started with Linda in 1976. He worked in this business until Thanksgiving 2022 and always cherished his interactions and friendships with their clients. Ed and Linda raised two daughters, Tammi and Heidi, who both reside in Bellevue with their respective families.
A lifelong Seventh-day Adventist, Ed helped build the current Sequim SDA Church where he actively participated for nearly 60 years. He is remembered for his friendly, cheery demeanor, laughing until he cried, his lovely singing voice and his genuine care for others. Ed was solid in his faith, understood God's plan, and looked forward to being reunited with us very soon.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 1st, 2023 at 3pm at the Sequim SDA Church for family and friends.

Fond memories of Ed....his easy smile and contagious laugh...his wonderful singing voice...his general kindness. A good man...gone too soon.

Ed was like a second dad to me...so many childhood memories...I will miss him...at the family reunion he told me he would see me at the next one...whether here or in heaven...truth...

Ed was such a huge part of my childhood. Spending time with the Bauer family was always fun. He sang at my wedding and had such a beautiful voice. He also had a talent for playing piano by ear. I remember many afternoons and evenings around the piano with Ed playing while we all sang. He gave the best hugs and always had encouraging words to share. He and I decided we would be co-managers for family reunions and I´m so glad he got to attend last September. Will miss him, but it won´t be long until we are reunited once again!

It´s hard to accept that Ed has moved on. What a blessing to have known him and to know that the next thing Ed will see is Jesus Christ.
