Joseph Dzink Obituary
Joseph F. Dzink, 92, of Harrisburg, passed away Monday, October 29, 2012 in the Community General Osteopathic Hospital.
He was born January 29, 1920 in Shenandoah, PA., he was the son of the late Joseph and Julia (Nork) Dzink, and was preceded in death by his two sisters, Anna and Alberta.
Joseph retired from AMP Inc. after 25 years of service; he was a member of the National Guard and attended the Paxton Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed metal detecting, fishing and playing bingo. He loved interacting with people and had a great sense of humor.
Surviving is his wife of 67 years, Dorothy (Hoch) Dzink; his daughter, JoAnn "Jody" Dzink-Fox, husband, James Fox, of Harvard, MA; and two grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM Monday, November 5, 2012 in the Paxton Presbyterian Church, 3500 Sharon St., Harrisburg. Burial will be in East Harrisburg Cemetery. A viewing will be held 10:00 AM Monday at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Paxton Presbyterian Church, 3500 Sharon St., Harrisburg, PA 17111.
