David Kirkpatrick Obituary
David E. Kirkpatrick, Age 69 of Pensacola passed away on Nov 3rd at Sacred Heart Hospital. He was born in Princeton, NJ to David & Jocelyn Kirkpatrick.
He grew up in Washington D.C. After high school, David continued his education at University of Denver and George Washington University Law School.
David served as a JAG Officer in the U. S. Navy. Later, as a civilian, he served with the Navy Office of General Counsel in Norfolk, VA and Indianapolis, IN
He loved all watersports, tennis, hunting, jeeping and driving fast in his sports cars.
David served as a member of Pensacola & Grand Lagoon Yacht clubs, Texas Rowdie Roadsters, Miracle Strip Corvette Club and Pensacola Athletic Center.
He was preceded in death by his parents & beloved dogs.
David is survived by his wife, Lindy; sisters, Melissa Fox and Alison Tichenor and mother-in-law, Nancy Moorshead.
A special thank you to Drs. Sunnenberg, Lowrey & Pennington and the nursing staff at Sacred Heart Cancer Center & Hospital.
Graveside memorial service will be at 12:35 p.m., Monday, Nov 14th at Barrancas National Cemetery. Attendees will gather at Trahan Family Funeral Home at 11:45 for escort to Barrancas National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in David's name to Servicedoguniversity.net, PO Box 37157, Pensacola, FL 32526.
