Lisa Jackson Obituary
Pensacola - Lisa Emelia Jackson was born April 13, 1967. She was the seventh of eight children born to Anna Henry. Lisa was adopted, loved, and raised by her mother Classie Hill and her father, the late George Hill in Pensacola, FL. Lisa accepted Christ at an early age. She was baptized at Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church in Pensacola, FL. Lisa is a graduate of Pensacola High School, class of 1985 and the University of West Florida, where she received her Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education, class of 1998. Lisa was employed by the Escambia County School Board and taught at Petree Elementary and O.J. Semmes Elementary until her health began to deteriorate in 2003.
Her beautiful life will forever be cherished by her loving family: her mother, Classie Hill; maternal mother, Anna Henry; husband, Gregory Jackson, daughters, Brittany and Jasmine Jackson; sisters, Patricia (James) Larkins, Barbara (Michael) Huff, Connie Henry, Vanessa Henry, Marcia (LaMarr) Jones, and her only brother Derrick (Donna) Henry. Special cousin, Dr. Michael (Allison) Roberts; a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and many close friends.
Visitation and family hour will be Sunday, December 9, 2018 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Tracy Morton Memorial Chapel, 55 Coast Road, Pensacola, FL. Services will be Monday, December 10, 2018 at 11:00 am at Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church, 2515 North 6th Avenue, Pastor Otha Leverette, III, officiating. Burial will be at Barrancas National Cemetery, 1 Cemetery Road, Pensacola, FL.

To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Lisa you were a blessing to all whom came in contact with you. Brittany and Jasmine, I admire you both for the dedication and the love you ladies gave to your mother. To you Greg, I pray that God will strengthen you though this hour in your life. Lisa, you fought a good fight, now your battle is won. God I thank you and bless you for the years of love and friendship I was given with Lisa as a classmate, church member and a friend. Rest on Lisa. Heaven has gained a True Soldier and a Beautiful Angel.
