Beverly Bell Obituary

Beverly Jean Martin Bell was a gift to the world; offspring of the beautiful marriage of Joseph E. Martin and Louise J. Martin of Richmond, VA. She touched the lives of everyone she encountered; including her family, friends, neighbors, travel clients, and peers. Congenial to a fault, she rarely knew a stranger. Her light shone bright from November 9th, 1946 until December 8th, 2018 when she passed in her favorite room of her dream home. Beverly is survived by her husband Thomas Bell; brother Ken Martin & his wife JoAnn; sons Shannon (Sean) and Layne Donovan & his wife Jamie; Grandchildren Autumn, Noah, Penny, and Lilly; Great-grandchild Violet. Cooking, traveling, conversing, hosting and creating memories were her strong points, but nothing trumped time with family over a special meal. In fact, friends and family are invited to a “come-as-you-mayâ€ Beverly-worthy celebration of life on Saturday, December 29th from 11am to 5pm. Email [email protected] or call 757-650-3240 for details. Share your thoughts and memories of Beverly at www.altmeyerfh.com.
