Caroline Freeman Obituary
Virginia Beach - Caroline House Freeman, 73, of Crystal Lake Drive, Virginia Beach died peacefully in her sleep on February 4, 2013 at Atlantic Shores Rehabilitation Center following a brief illness. The daughter of the late Thomas Burr House, Jr. and Doris Virginia Anderson House, Mrs. Freeman was born in Hopkinsville, Kentucky on September 27, 1939. She was predeceased by her husband, James David Freeman, in May, 2012. They were owners of Plaza Bakery since 1959
Survivors include three sons, Peter Anderson Freeman of Virginia Beach, Va., James David (Kim) Freeman, Jr. and their daughter, Isabella Han Freeman of Wilmington, N. C., and Thomas Michael (Denise) Freeman of Suffolk, Va., one brother, Thomas B. (Nancy) House, III of Cadiz, Ky., sister-in-law, Patsy Freeman Cannon of Virginia Beach, Va., two step grandchildren and three step great grandchildren.
A memorial service for Mrs. Freeman will be held at the Eastern Shore Chapel Episcopal Church in Virginia Beach on Wed. Feb. 20 at 2 p.m.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in memory of Mrs. Freeman to Operation Smile Charity 6535 Tidewater Dr., Norfolk, VA. 23509 or the Virginia Beach Rescue Squad 740 Virginia Beach Blvd., Virginia Beach, VA. 23451. Online Condolences may be shared with the family at www.hdoliver.com
