Jerry Iii Obituary
North Carolina - JERRY LEE KEETER III, 28, of 129 Waterfront Road, Columbia, died Monday, February 17, 2014 at his home. Born in Portsmouth, VA, August 18, 1985, he was the son of Jerry Lee Keeter, Jr. of Columbia and Robin Respess Bonham of Smithfield, VA. He was married to Cyera Rawlins Keeter of Columbia. Surviving in addition to his wife and parents are two sons, Gabriel Reed of VA and Jerry Lee Keeter IV of Columbia and a step-daughter, Kaylee Brickhouse of Columbia. Jerry was a loving father, husband and son. He was a courageous young man with a BIG heart and always had a smile on his face. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Columbia Missionary Baptist Church. The family will visit with friends following the service on Saturday.

Cyera, I am so sorry that you are having to go through this. I understand how it feels when your babies lose their daddy at a very young age. I will never forget the moment I had to tell my own and and the look on their faces. Believe me, I have cried many times, asking God "why", and have felt what seemed like the weight of the world on my shoulders. I felt angry, afraid, overwhelmed, numb, sad, confused, all at once it seemed. Just know I have had you all on my mind and in my prayers, and I will continue to say prayers for you and both of your babies. Hugs!
