Kathleen Heberlin Obituary
Kathy was a devoted mother, wife and devout Christian who attended several churches in Virginia Beach. After her children had grown, she continued to provide loving care for others in her community.
Kathy married her high school sweetheart, Thomas Edwin Sharpnack, Sr, and lived in several states as a Navy wife, eventually settling in Virginia. She was widowed in 1958 and eventually remarried Richard Julian Heberlin in 1961, from whom she is also widowed.
Kathy is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, two brothers, and her son, Thomas Edwin Sharpnack, Jr.
She is survived by her loving children, Cynthia Sharpnack, Robert (Warlyn) Sharpnack, William Heberlin, Diane (Greg) Lingo, grandchildren Heather Shaw Parsons, Devin (Jackie) Bickford, Kini (Pono) Akiona-Ferriman, Ryan Lingo, Cameron Lingo, Karissa Sharpnack and great grandchildren Matthew Parsons, Amber Parsons, and Kahekawai Akiona-Ferriman.
Kathy spent the last year of her life with her daughter, Diane's, family in Henrico, Virginia. The family thanks Kathy's granddaughter, Cammie, for the special care she provided during this time.
