Stephen Brock Obituary
Norfolk - Stephen Allen Brock, 61, passed away on Friday, June 22, 2012 after a long bout with cancer. He was born on April 3, 1951 in Portsmouth, VA to the late Woodrow and Elizabeth Brock. Stephen attended Maury and Lake Taylor High Schools before graduating Hicks Academy of Beauty. He later went on to become an entrepreneur and founded Brock and Company Hair Salon. He is survived by his soulmate and life partner William C. Revels, siblings David, Michael (Penny) and Nancy Brock and a large extended family.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, June 30, 2012 at St. John's Methodist Church 2709 Greendale Ave Norfolk, Va 23518 by Rev Brandon L. Gilmore.
Visitation with the family will follow the service in the fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers please remember Stephen to your favorite charity.

I knew Steve since he was 17. For many years we were close friends. I only found out today, 5 years later, that my "Little Buddy" had passed. I am heartbroken. God bless you Stephen Allen Martin Brock.

I just learned of Stephen's death today...my heart aches for you and Chelsea and Schnapps...Stephen was a truly wonderful man. I will never forget his wicked sense of humor and his kind and gentle spirit. We shared a love of schnauzers, gardening and good food. Please know that you are in my heart and prayers...and Stephen will live on forever in my heart.

When we worked together at Angelo's years ago, he was always kind as I was coming up through the ranks. He was always the one I'd call to find out how things were going in the area. He will be missed. It was an honor and a privilege to have known and worked with him.
