MARQUETTE HEIGHTS - Cindy Elizabeth Fincham, 51, of Marquette Heights, formerly of East Peoria and Peoria, passed away at 12:45 a.m. Friday, Oct. 31, 2014, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
She was born Dec. 8, 1962, in Peoria to August Mathias and Jane Suzanne (Boblit) Fincham. Her parents preceded her in death.
Surviving are one daughter, Jessica (Conaley) Aaron of East Peoria; one son, Justin Shannon of Marquette Heights; six grandchildren, Madelyne Aaron, Morganne Aaron, Makinley Aaron, Monrhowe Aaron, Griffin Aaron and Bailey Shannon; and one brother, Chris (Nichole) Fincham of Washington.
Cindy had worked as a dispatcher for the East Peoria Police Department and Creve Coeur Police Department. She last worked in the call center at Nicor Gas in Bloomington for several years.
Cindy enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her dog, Iggy. She was a fan of the band U2 and enjoyed traveling to Florida and watching Joseph Prince on television.
Her graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, 2014, at Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to her family to help with funeral expenses.
