Mr Farino, my 5th grade teacher from Lincoln Elementary, was a great influence in my life. I didn't fit in and he took special care to see that I was always included. His love for teaching and his students has and will continue to have a positive influence on Generations to come.
I have 8 kids and 8 grandchildren, they are a product of the possibilities he sowed into my life.
RIP my favorite elementary school teacher and mentor.

Dear Anne, my sincere condolences go out to you and all of Frank's Loved Ones left behind. Frank and I had shared a very special childhood friendship nurtured by our Dad's friendship and love of sports. We played baseball, basketball, football for hours on end! Frank is very much a part of my most cherished childhood memories. We both lived near each other by Treadwell High School where Hank was a coach and teacher eventually becoming Principal. This was also in St. Michaels Parrish where we could spend long hot summer days, maybe starting with a little 'left field ball' until we had enough players to have a scrappy little game. Cliff Sr., my Dad and Hank were never too far away to encourage and help us hone our budding athleticism! By the seventh grade Hank moved his family to St. Louis Parrish, but Frank refused to be disloyal to his teammates and graduated from St. Michaels. Frank furthered his education at Christian Brothers and I went to Catholic High...Sports was always a big part of our Childhood Memories. Sincerely, Clifford W. Hill, Jr.

Farino Family,
I was a student of Mr. Farino's as a 5th grade student at Lincoln Elementary. As a parent now, I realize what an innovative educator he was. I can remember battling out spelling bees for the coveted prize of Jackson 5 albums. He encouraged us to strive for excellence and I'd like to think I some of what I took to Princeton University came from him. Feel free to contact me when it is convenient.
