For almost 40 years Tom has been our family attorney. He's was there thru divorces, deaths, and to help me with any other questions or issues that arose whether personal or legal. He and my dad were great Cubs fans; now they'll be able to watch the game together while wearing their scarves. I'm going to miss bringing a goodie box to him at Christmas; it always put a smile on his face. He will truly be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you, his family.

The picnic grounds out on Koerner are not going to be the same awaiting Tom to pull in through the front gates yet knowing that he won't be pulling through those gates ever again. So long Tom. Say hi to the catcher Bob was telling me about. I know you're pitching. You just got called from the bull pen.

My sincere condolences for your loss. As you endure this difficult time of sorrow, please turn to the Most High God for comfort as his word assures us at Jeremiah 29:12,13 "you will call me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you."

Dear Toms Family: Tom and I were very close friends through grade school at St. Philomena and High School at Spalding, and even during our college years. He was a dear friend. Weve sent Christmas cards to each othern for several years. I received one from him just this past holiday season. I am very sad to learn of Tom's passing. I knew him as a good and kind man. And one heck of an athletic talent. Anything he took up, he was good at. He played number one on our Spalding golf team. I played number 2 or 3, but Tom was always number one. The Spalding football and basketball coaches really wanted him on their varsity teams from the beginning of our high school days, but Toms folks didnt let him play. The coaches saw his raw athletic talent, when he came in as a freshman in PE classes. Although we spent the last 50+ years in different places, and led our separate lives, I will miss Tom very very much.
