Clayton Forde Obituary

Clayton A. Forde, 72, of Bartonsville, passed away Wednesday, April 14 in St. Luke's Hospice House, Bethlehem.
He was the loving husband of Donna (Corley) Forde.
Born in Jamaica, Queens, He was the son of the late Clayton Forde and the late Dorine (Thorne) Forde.
Clayton was an acting general for Metro Transportation Authority in New York for over twenty years. He was a loving and caring husband and father, and he will be deeply missed by all of his friends and family.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Rahsaan Ephraim and his wife Deanna of Alexandria, VA, and a daughter, Brittany Forde of Chesapeake, VA. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Dennis Forde.
A viewing will be held on Monday, April 19 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM from the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209, Brodheadsville. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM with Bishop Robert Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Prospect Cemetery, East Stroudsburg.

you were not only a gentle giant but a wonderful friend. You were always a friendly voice when we spoke on the phone but when you came out to the field and we got to work together side by side it was one of the best times of my career.
