GENEVIEVE JOAN GORDON (Nee ZAJDEL) Kimball, NE/Gary, IN Age 92 passed away Saturday, November 18, 2006. Survived by 3 sons: Gerald C. (Monika) Gordon of Kimball, NE, Robert J. Golkowski of Paradise, TX & his wife, Mary of Tucson, AZ, and Lawrence P. Gordon of Greeley, CO; 8 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by husband, Clement in 1986, parents, Joseph Zajdel & Catherine Filar; six brothers and sisters. Mrs. Gordon was a former member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Gary and Denver, CO, PNA # 2431 and the PWA Queen of Peace. She served the Bethlehem Fathers as a housekeeper and cook for many years while living in Denver, CO and was an avid member of the Blessed Sacrament choir in Denver where she sang alto. She was also an active foster grandparent in Kimball, NE. She married Clement S. Golkowski in Gary, IN in 1936. Clement later changed the family name to Gordon in 1947. Friends may call at Pruzin Brothers Funeral Service, 6360 Broadway, Merrillville on Friday from 3-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 25, 2006 at 9:30 a.m. from the Pruzin Brothers Chapel and 10:00 a.m. from Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (1775 W. 41st.
