Bill Squier Obituary



Bill D. Squier, 35, Little Chute, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, Dec. 29, 2011, of natural causes. He was born Feb. 12, 1976, in Appleton, son of Wallie and Laverne (Van Groll) Squier.

Following graduation from Little Chute High School, Bill spent many memorable years at the University of Wisconsin-Stout. Bill worked for several years at Victor Allen. Bill enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time with his family and friends. Some of his favorite moments were spent with friends while watching the Packers or the Badgers play.

In addition to his parents, Bill is further survived by two sisters, Jenny (Jane Sumner) Squier and Amy (Tom) Roffers; nieces and nephews, Anna, Kayla, Spencer and Dylan; paternal grandmother, Jean (Henry) Hendricks; godmother, LeaAnn Van Groll; former wife, Tracy Squier; many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Bill is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, William and Barbara Van Groll; paternal grandfather, Daniel Squier; godfather, Dennis Van Groll; an aunt, uncles and cousins.

Sharing of memories will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2012, at the Little Chute Civic Center, 625 Grand Avenue, Little Chute. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until the time of the sharing of memories.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Bill's name.

We will miss you so much Bill. We had great times in Herbster on the 4 wheelers and of course your golf cart. Bill and Tracy would light fireworks for us every year. Then we could count on Eggs Benedict and one year he made ribs on the grill. You were just a special guy with a big smile!

my heart breaks for all of you. seeing bill at thankgiving feels like such a gift.
