Laura Purdy Obituary
Neenah - Laura Jean Purdy, age 54, of Neenah, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 22, 2018.
Laura Jean was born on September 3, 1963 in Summit, New Jersey daughter of Richard and Elizabeth (Hancox) MacMillan. She graduated from Hanover Park High School Class of 1981. She married her high school sweetheart, Mark Purdy on October 15, 1988. Laura Jean enjoyed gardening and loved animals.
In addition to her husband Mark, she is survived by her parents, Richard and Elizabeth MacMillan, her daughters, Megan (Scott) Van Eperen, Sarah Ann Purdy (fiancé' David Johnson), and Melissa Jean Purdy. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Madelyn Jean and Mackenzie Mae Van Eperen, and Landen Clark Johnson; her sisters, Lisa Ellis and Linda (Jim) Visoskas, a brother-in-law, Timothy (Lora) Purdy and a sister-in-law, Elizabeth Pynn.
Laura Jean was preceded in death by her mother and father-in-law, Donald and Ruth Purdy and a brother-in-law, Roth Pynn.
Memorial services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at the Kessler Funeral Home, 304 S. Commercial St., Neenah. A gathering of family and friends will be held at the funeral home from 11:30 until the time of services. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established.
