Stefanie Gramer Obituary
Stefanie Gramer, age 84, of Fremont, died on Sunday, July 5, 2015 at Crossroads Care Center in Weyauwega. She was born on August 20, 1930, in Stiebnig, Czechoslovakia, the daughter of the late Josef and Stefanie(Knopp)Schoener. On August 11, 1951, Stefanie married Gerhard Gramer in Germany. They later moved to Wisconsin and owned and operated the Blue Top Resort in Fremont for 11 years. Stefanie loved gardening both flowers and vegetables, playing cards, cooking, baking, reading and visiting with the many visitors to the resort. She is survived by her son, Ron(Debra)Gramer, Fremont; and her daughter, Diane(Damon)DePree, Lake Villa, IL; and family in Germany. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at 4 PM at Stefanie's home, 1456 Wolf River Dr., Fremont. Pastor Alex Tychkin will officiate. Friends may gather at the home from 3:00 PM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for the Crossroads Care Center of Weyauwega.
Stefanie's family would like to thank the staff and the hospice nurses at Crossroads Care Center for all of the care and compassion provided to her during her time there. It was greatly appreciated.
