Margaret "Marge" Diehl, 74, of Muhlenberg Township, died Friday in Good Shepherd Specialty Hospital, Bethlehem.

Born in Mahanoy City, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Anna Keip Casserly.

She was married to William J. Diehl for 52 years.

She was a sales clerk for Pomeroy's Department Store, Pottsville, then secretary for Davis Candies, Reading, for 21 years, retiring in 1991.

She was a member of Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Thomas and William Casserly.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a daughter, Diane Lerch, Shillington, and grandchildren, Kristen and Matthew Lerch.

Funeral services will be held at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday from Bean Funeral Home, North 16th and Rockland streets, Hampden Heights. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church. The Rev. Christopher M. Zelonis is the celebrant. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 8:45 a.m. until the time of services Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Gethsemane Cemetery.
