Jason Goodspeed Obituary

GRANVILLE -- Jason S. Goodspeed passed away on Saturday, Feb. 26, 2005, as a result of an automobile accident. Jason had recently relocated to Queensbury.

Born on May 26, 1972, in Glens Falls, he was the son of John A. and June (Bushman) Goodspeed Sr. Jason was a graduate of Granville High School and a vocational program to become a certified welder. He was employed by Kubricky Construction.

He loved his children very much. Jason also enjoyed hunting and fishing.

In addition to his parents, Jason is survived by his wife, Rachel (Daigle) Goodspeed and their two daughters, Rachel Jean Grace Goodspeed and Cassandra Marcina Goodspeed, all of North Granville; five brothers: John Goodspeed Jr. and his wife, Gail, of Gansevoort, Kevin Goodspeed and his wife, Beth, of Hartford, Darwin Goodspeed of Dallas, Texas, Thomas Goodspeed and his wife, Bonnie, of North Granville and Stacey Goodspeed and his wife, Kelly, of Middle Granville; a sister, Sheryl Norton and her husband, Rusty, of Hartford; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 1, at Robert M. King Funeral Home, 23 Church St., Granville.

A graveside service will be held in the spring at Mettowee Valley Cemetery in Pawlet, Vt.

Memorial contributions may be made to C. R. Wood Cancer Center, c/o Glens Falls Hospital, 102 Park St., Glens Falls, NY 12801.
