Janet Regina Prince

1939 - 2022

Janet Regina (Bressler) Prince, 83, passed away peacefully on November 7, 2022, at her home in Lower Pottsgrove Twp., PA. She was the wife of David Benjamin Prince, with whom she shared over 62 years of marriage. Born in Pottstown, PA, on February 11, 1939, Janet was the daughter of the late Isadore Stanley and Sylvia (Gussman) Bressler. She was a graduate of Pottstown High School and of The University of Pennsylvania. In addition to her husband, Janet is lovingly remembered by her children, Sharon L. Prince, Marcus D. Prince, and Anne P. Voynar; her grandsons, Jake I. Voynar and Zachery L. Voynar; her brother and sister-in-law, Steven and Beverly Bressler, her two nieces and one nephew and extended family and friends. Janet loved shopping, the casinos, traveling, and attending the theater and ballet, particularly in New York City. She was an excellent cook and delighted in entertaining. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Janet was very active serving in leadership roles at the Congregation Mercy and Truth synagogue, including as the president of the Sisterhood and of the Congregation, and headed many projects like the annual rummage sale and the Purim basket fundraiser. Visitation will take place on November 10, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. â€" 10:45 a.m. at Houck & Gofus Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 955 N. Charlotte St., Pottstown, PA 19464.
