Shawna L. Northrup

Shawna L. Northrup, 39, of Gilbertsville, fiancé of Daniel Evcic, passed away Monday, March 29 at home after a battle with cancer. Born in Pottstown, she was the daughter of Michael C. and Nancy L. (Stager) Northrup. Shawna earned her Bachelors degree in nursing and worked at Reading Hospital in the medical psych department since 2016. She enjoyed traveling, especially trips to Disney World and Universal Studios. Shawna loved to spend time with her friends and family, and always lived life to the fullest. Surviving along with her parents and her fiancé and his daughter McKenna, are her children Cayley and Jacob Minner; sister Jamie Northrup; brother Jeff Northrup; special friends from preschool through high school Tiff, Alix, Miranda, Tara, Katie, Jen, Kelly, Kristin, Brooke, Amy, and Kristy; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday April 5, 7:00PM at St. Columbkill RC Church, 200 Indian Spring Road, Boyertown, with visitation from 5:00PM to 6:45PM at the church. Burial will be Tuesday, 10:00AM at Most Blessed Sacrament Church Cemetery, Bally.
