LaGrange - Michael J. Antonucci, 65, of the Town of LaGrange, died Thursday, March 27, 2014 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. Born in Bronx, NY on January 16, 1949, he was the son of Michael J. and Carol Jacobsen Antonucci, Sr. On September 25, 1976 Michael married Sharon A. Zelinka in LaGrange, NY and she survives him at home. He worked as a driver for 22 years for the Teamster Union Local #814 in Brooklyn, NY and for the Local #560 in Maywood, NJ. After retirement from the Teamsters Union he became a self employed tractor Trailer driver. Michael was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Michael's family was very important to him especially playing with his granddaughters. He always took time to help everyone. He was a Yankees fan and enjoyed working with his hands. In addition to his wife Sharon, Michael is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Kristine and Michael Mirabella of LaGrange, NY, his brother Charles Antonucci and his sister Carol Hess of Milan, NY. In addition, he is survived by his grandchildren Maya and Samantha, several nieces and nephews, as well as many friends. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 from 4:00-8:00pm at the William G. Miller & Son Funeral Home, Inc., 371 Hooker Ave. Poughkeepsie, NY 12603. A Service will be held in the Funeral Home at 7:30pm, during visitation. Burial will be held at the Freedom Plains Cemetery at a later date. If desired, donations may be made to the Vassar Brothers Medical Center Foundation.
