Michele Cioffi Obituary
Poughkeepsie, NY - Michele Cioffi, 64 of Poughkeepsie, NY passed away on Friday, March 12, 2021 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. Michele was born on July 6, 1956 in Newburgh, NY to the late Michael Seeley and the former Evelyn Chrinian. She married Joseph Cioffi, III on August 6, 1988 in Millbrook, NY. Her predeceased her in 2016.
Michele was previously employed as a Head Cook at the Spackenkill School District for 20 years. She was a loving mother, grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved being a grandmother and spoiling her granddaughter. Michele was a major advocate for her son who had autism and to whom she dedicated a large portion of her life. She was caring, selfless, compassionate and her sarcastic wit was always appreciated by anyone who knew her.
Michele is survived by her son Joseph Cioffi, IV of Clermont, NY, daughters Angela M. (Jonathan) Silver of Poughkeepsie, NY, Stephanie Dunkley of Albany, NY, brother Terry Seeley in Wassaic, NY, sister Barbara Seeley-Powlis of Fishkill, NY, granddaughter Lily Silver, niece Danielle and nephew Jeffrey. In addition to her parents, Michele is predeceased by her sister Lorraine.
