McAndrew, Arlene "Tootsie"

Arlene "Tootsie" McAndrew, 79, passed away February 19, 2015 with loving family at her side. Home and family were central to Tootsie's life. In the Italian tradition she was an excellent cook and baker. Her greatest joy was her family. She enjoyed many lifelong friendships and her neighbors on Second St. in Binghamton, where she lived for many years. Everyone will remember her as kind and caring. She is survived by her six children, John McAndrew of Binghamton, Annette Muska of Johnson City, Karen Greenleaf (Wyatt) of Laurens, NY, Deborah Blew (Ron) of Rock Hill, SC, Maureen McAndrew of Johnson City and Michael McAndrew of Clover, SC, nine grandchildren; David, Andrew(Christina), Lacee, Meghan, Adrienne, Cameron, Zachary, Michael and Gabriel, two great-grandchildren, Lena and Julian, two brothers Leonard Benedetto of Il and Joseph Benedetto of Binghamton, along with nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends. She was predeceased by her brother John Benedetto.

Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Sunday at the Hopler & Eschbach Funeral Home, 483 Chenango St. Binghamton. The family will greet friends at the funeral home Sunday from 12:00 -1:00 pm. Private burial will be Monday in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the American Diabetes Assoc. Please sign her online guestbook at www.HEFUNERALHOME.com
