Dominic Mazzone

Dominic MAZZONE Dominic Mazzone, 90, died peacefully last Thursday in the company of children, grandchildren and friends. Throughout his life, Dominic found his greatest joy in the company of others, sharing good food, music, stories and laughter. He poured his heart and energy into everything he did, in a near- constant struggle to overcome adversity and to make something of himself. Did he ever succeed! Wherever Dominic worked or played, he made good friends. Although we all miss him, we take much comfort in the knowledge that he is back in the arms of the Good Shepherd. Dominic is survived by his sister, Catherine Logozo, Seattle, WA., daughters, Roberta Mazzoni, Seattle, WA., Catherine (and Virgil) Holtrop, Custer, WA., sons, William (and Jeanne) Mazzoni, Edmonds, WA., and Patrick (and Mary) Mazzone, Port Townsend, WA., plus eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A Funeral Mass will be offered in celebration of Dominic's life at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, January 28, 2003 at Holy Rosary Church, 4139 42nd Ave. S.W., in West Seattle. Afterwards, his body will be laid to rest beside his beloved wife, Rosemary, at Calvary Cemetery in Seattle.
