George M. Scott
of VestalGeorge M. Scott, 90, of Vestal, passed away Monday evening, September 2, 2002 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. He was predeceased by his wife of 61 years, Marion P. Scott. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Robert D. and Louise Scott, Endwell; his daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Emil Stastny, Johnson City; four grandchildren, Christopher Stastny and his wife Renee, Vestal, Mark Stastny, Johnson City, Heidi Wesley and her husband William, Cicero, N.Y., Kristen Colwell and her husband Steven Salisbury, N.C.; two great-grandchildren, Michael Stastny and Caroline Colwell. He was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Endicott, a retired IBM Endicott employee and a member of its Quarter Century Club. He was also a member of the Vestal Senior Citizens Center. Funeral and committal services will be held Friday at 8 p.m. at the Leon Pucedo Funeral Home, Inc., 1905 Watson Blvd., Endicott with the Rev. Jim Jones officiating. Entombment will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park . The family will receive friends at the Pucedo Funeral Home Friday evening from 6 p.m. until the time of service at 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in memory of Mr. Scott may be made to the Vestal Senior Citizens Center, 201 Main St., Vestal, N.Y. 13850.
