of BinghamtonJames J. Stoeckel, 46, of Binghamton, died Thursday, September 18, 2003. He was predeceased by a brother, Daniel Stoeckel. He is survived by two daughters, Kelly Stoeckel, Endicott, and Kari Stoeckel, Binghamton; one son, Joseph Stoeckel, Port Crane; three grandchildren, Casey, Noah and Hailie; his parents, George and Helen Stoeckel, Binghamton; one sister and brother-in-law, Jean and Rick Armentrout, Fla.; five brothers and two sisters-in-law, Peter and Melanie Stoeckel, Binghamton, Mark Stoeckel, Mass., William Stoeckel, Binghamton, George and Laurie Stoeckel, Johnson City, Frank Stoeckel, Binghamton; his fiancee, Patti Rutik, Binghamton; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. He was a six year employee for the Town of Union. He was a Harley Davidson motorcycle enthusiast who rode to live and lived to ride.
Funeral and interment services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. from the Allen Memorial Home, 511-513 East Main St., Endicott. The Rev. Donald E. Birch will officiate. The family will receive friends at the memorial home Monday from 6 to 9 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in James' memory may be made to Acousticon Hearing Aid Center, 75 Riverside Dr., Johnson City, N.Y. 13790.
