Michael Anderson Obituary

Michael Jon Anderson

September 8, 1963

July 24, 2011

Michael's early years were spent in Cheyenne, WY., Bountiful, Ut., and Elgin, IL. before moving to Reno, NV. in 1981. Michael chose not to work in the confines of a building, but to be outside, working with his hands, preferably in the field of landscaping. His affection for his daughter Samantha was without equal. When Michael was young he felt he could be an animal vet, and this love for animals was displayed with all of the dogs that passed through Michael's life over the years. Since all of his closest friends are in heaven, we all know where Michael is also.

Surviving Michael are his daughter, Samantha, Reno; parents Steve and Grace Anderson, Sparks NV.; sisters Diana (Weyant), New Paris, PA., and Shannon (Guin), Reno, NV.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at Walton Sparks Funerals & Cremations, 1745 Sullivan Lane, Sparks.

My dearest son, Here it is ten years later and the loss is still great. You will never know how much you were loved, not only by family but by scores of friends. You made such an impression on everyone that you met and will always be remembered for you love and caring for others. There is no one that can fill that void for us and we miss you so much.

What I can say of Mike is that he is one of the kindest and loving men I have met in my life. Out of the love came a beautiful daughter who was adored and loved by her father. The light of tenderness that Mike had is carried on by his beautiful daughter. I am thankful for the memories I will carry with me. I am more blessed by the Mike I knew and loved. Thank you Mike for touching my life, my families life and those around you. You are not far from us as we will carry you in our hearts and memories. We will see you everytime we see a blossom or a glance of the beautiful Samantha. We love you very much.

We all have those "good old days" tucked away in our hearts: memories that make us smile, journey with us as we move through time, and give us spcial glimpses in to yesterday.
We all have that place we keep our best thpughts. In that place, we can always be where laughter was in plenty, and we can relive the happiest times of all, over and over again.
We allhave our special memories-those bright additions to each day.
I just wanted to let you know that mine are there... because of you.
I Love You!
