Uthman A. Shahid
of Binghamton
Uthman A. Shahid, 24, passed away suddenly July 20, 2007.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:30 a.m. at the Fischer-Scholder Funeral Home, Inc., 269 Chenango St., with Imam Kasim Kopuz officiating. Burial will be in the Islamic Cemetery, Town of Union, N.Y.

I remember when and his family first moved to Binghamton. His brother and I immediately became good friends and he used to hang out with us occassionally. He was a good kid. We will miss him.

My son, Michael, was one of the men who helped at the accident. We are very sory for your loss,and we will remember you always. On Saturday, Mike left flowers and a note at the accident site. May God be with you and your loved ones now and forever.

I HAVE SO MANY MEMORIES OF UTHMAN. I REMEMBER WHEN YOUR FAMILY FIRST MOVED TO ELY PARK. HE HAD TO BE 7 OR 8 YEARS OLD HE WAS SUCH A HAPPY KID.WHEN I SAW HIM LAST WEEK I REMEMBER SAYING TO HIM HOW OLD I FELT BECAUSE ALL THE KIDS THAT USED TO RUN AROUND THE NEIGHBORHOOD ARE ALL GROWN WITH FAMILIES.HE SMILED AND SAID GOODBYE AND WENT IN THE HOUSE.
