Bernadette Marie Buckley

BUCKLEY, Bernadette Marie Passed away June 9, 2003 at home in Santa Rosa after a long, valiant fight with cancer. Daughter of the late Michael and Nora Casey. Mother of Colleen M. Buckley-Gatto of Vallejo; Kerry Ann Gallagher of Petaluma; Katherine Casey Buckley of Santa Rosa and Richard I. Buckley of San Bruno. Mother-in-law of Stephen A. Gatto, James J. Gallagher and Robin S. Buckley. Sister of Marge Alquist of San Francisco, John Casey of Santa Clara and the late Timothy and David Casey. Grandmother of Angelina Gatto, John Jack P. Gallagher, Brendon J. Buckley and Morgan L. Buckley. A graduate of the Pioneer Class of Mercy High School, Class of 1956. She worked in the medical field for 27 years as an employee of the County at Community Hospital, now Sutter of Sonoma County. A dedicated employee, very well-liked by the community and much loved by the staff and her fellow coworkers. She enjoyed traveling, listening to jazz, and was an active parishioner at St. Eugene’s Cathedral. A resident of Santa Rosa for 30 years. A native of San Francisco. Age 65. Friends are invited to attend a funeral Mass at St. Eugene’s Cathedral, Montgomery Dr., Santa Rosa at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 13, 2003.
