Dolores Myrtle MASRY

1923 - 2016

MASRY, Dolores Myrtle September 22, 1923 - August 11, 2016 Dolores lived the first 50 plus years of her life in San Francisco. She was a graduate of Balboa High School. In her early 20's she worked at the Phone Company and then at Crown Zellerback. Later in her life, after raising her son Ken, she would work at the Office of the Registrar of Voters in San Francisco. In 1975 she and her husband Al built a home in Sebastopol and moved there to retire. Dolores loved Sebastopol, her home, her neighbors and the community. She was active in St. Sebastian Church, Sebastopol New Comers Club and the Ladies Auxiliary of Palm Hospital. Dolores and Al moved to Redwood City in 2009 to be closer to their son Ken. Dolores lost Al, the love of her life for 68 yrs. in 2011. She could light up a room with her smile, her infectious laugh and her twinkle blue eyes. She was dearly loved and cherished and will be missed by all that knew her and loved her. She is survived by her son Ken, brother Ray (Rena), grandchildren Brett (Christy), Michelle and her great grandsons, Finn, Coy and Callen as well as her nephew and niece. Memorial Services will be held at CYPRESS LAWN FUNERAL HOME, 1370 El Camino Rl. Colma, CA on Monday, August 22 11:00 a.m. with a reception to follow.
