Milford C. Maloney

BUFFALO - Milford Charles Maloney, MD, FACP March 15, 1927 - February 9, 2018 Beloved husband of E. Dione Sheppard, loving father of the late M. Kevin Maloney, Michael (Nancy), Diane (Manuel) Enriquez, Rosemary (Thomas) Calame, Brian, John (Martha), the late Carolyn Mintz, Mark, and Patricia. Brother of the late Paul J. Maloney and fondest uncle to 6 nieces and nephews. He had 20 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Dr. Maloney was a well-known Cardiologist with a long career as Clinical Professor of Medicine at the State University of New York at Buffalo (SUNYAB), and Chairman of the Department of Medicine and the Residency program at Mercy Hospital of Buffalo, positions he held for over 27 years. Mil was known for his sense of humor, hospitality, story-telling, philanthropy, and insistence on keeping compassion for the patient at the forefront of medical care. The Funeral Mass will be held at The National Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham, 520 Richmond Road, Williamsburg, Virginia on March 1, 2018 at 1:00 PM, Flowers gratefully declined. Dr. Maloney will be interred at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Williamsburg, Virginia.
