Roger REYNOLDS Obituary

Passed away Jan. 26,2014 in Santa Rosa. He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah July 7, 1931 and lived in numerous cities of the USA until he graduated from Cloverdale High School in 1949. He attended the Univ. of Oregon, graduating with a B.A. in Business in 1953. He and Janice Taylor were married in June 1953 for over 60 years. He then served with the US Air Force as an Intelligence Officer in Korea and Japan. Roger worked for US Steel sales from 1955 until he retired in 1982. They lived in Salt Lake City until 1964 when he was transferred to San Francisco. He then worked in sales for McNear Brick until he again retired in 1996. They lived in San Rafael until 2010 when they moved to the lovely community of Varenna in Santa Rosa. Roger loved his family and friends, music, history, painting and traveling. Always fascinated with his Scottish heritage he was involved with the Prince Charles Bagpipe Band and the St. Andrew's Society. He is survived by his three children, M. Theresa Reynolds of Orinda CA, Michael Taylor Reynolds of Saratoga Springs, NY, Alicia S. Reynolds Watson of Petaluma CA and seven grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers, Wallace B. Reynolds and W. Timothy Reynolds. A Memorial Service will be held for Roger Reynolds Sat., March 1, 11:30 at St. Patrick's Episcopal Church in Kenwood. Donations to the Cancer Society or the Salvation Army are welcome in lieu of flowers.
