Theresa Elizabeth CARPENELLA

CARPENELLA, Theresa Elizabeth October 12, 1928 - September 8, 2017 Theresa, devoted mother and heart of the family went to be with the Lord on September 8, 2017, ending a five-year nightmare with skin cancer. She was the youngest of four, born in San Francisco to Fortunado and Josephine Poligono. She is survived by her children Michael Harrington (Mary) of Petaluma,and Patricia Finley of Santa Rosa; loving grandmother of Charlene Briceno( Luis) ; great-grandmother of Monica, Tommy and Vinny Briceno of Petaluma; preceded in death by her parents and step grandson David Harrington. She retired from Fireman's fund Insurance in 1987, was married to the late John Carpenella and moved to Santa Rosa in 1988.She loved sewing, cooking, dancing, movies, weekly dining out, game shows, bridge, the cats and socializing with friends. She will be missed every day. Friends and family are invited to attend Funeral Mass on Thursday September 28, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St Rose Catholic Church, 398 10th St, Santa Rosa, with interment to follow at Santa Rosa Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Wednesday September 27, 2017 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Eggen & Lance Chapel, 1540 Mendocino Ave, Santa Rosa.
