It has been many long years since I have seen Alvin but was lucky enough to be able to speak with him over the phone several years ago!
My prayers and thoughts go out to his Family and Friends, and may our Heavenly Father provide His strength and peace for all of you.....
Alvin, I will always remember how cool you were in school and that great twinkle in your eyes along with your wonderful smile.....
You were one of the sharpest Low Riders around and I will never forget you....
My twin sister Margie is sadden by your loss too.....

I knew Alvin because he was my Pops' tightest homeboys, but i became friends with him because he was a good man and we shared a fondness for political debate. I hope the angel wings don't mess up the creases on your pendleton. You will be missed.

My heart goes out to the Chavez family and everyone would loved Alvin!! I am so grateful for all the wonderful memories I have of him! He will be greatly missed and never forgotten!!! Rest In Peace..
