Marie P. Frappolli

FRAPPOLLI, MARIE P., - of Avalon, died on Sunday, March 8, 2009 at the Cape Regional Medical Center, Cape May Court House. Born in Clifton she has been a resident here for over 40 years. Marie graduated from Columbia University in NY where she received a Masters in Education. She later worked as a Supervisor of Cottage Living at Totowa, a training school in northern New Jersey for the mentally challenged and went to Woodbridge to help open a new training school. From there, Marie went to Woodbine as an Assistant Superintendant of the Woodbine Developmental Center. Many organizations of which she was a member of are; VFW of Northern New Jersey, Parlamentarian of the Garden Club of Avalon, Civic Club of Avalon, Avalon Homeowners' Association, Environmental Commission of Avalon, Wildwood Moose Club and the Avalon Republican Club. She is survived by Dorothea Angelou of Avalon. Interment is private. A memorial Mass celebrating Marie's life will be announced at a later date.
