My Dearest Millie,

My life has changed over the past few years since I lost Ignazio "Dee" and it hasn't been easy adjusting to a new way of living.

You can shed the tears that he is gone or you can smile because he has lived. You can close your eyes and pray that he will come back or you can open your eyes and see all that he has left. Your heart can be empty because you can't see him or you can be full of the love that you shared. You can remember him and only that he is gone or you can cherish the memory and let it live on.

My thoughts and prayers are with you during this very difficult time, as it is more than the heart can bear. May the light of your memories diminish the shadow of sorrow and bring you peace and comfort.

Our "Best Friends" live on in the memory that we keep.

Yours Truly,

Patti King-Slavtcheff
