Beverly Tomar Obituary

TOMAR, BEVERLY S. (54) died Thursday, April 21, 2011 at RIH from complications of surgery. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of John (Jonny Mambo) Tomar and Senhorina Fonseca. Sister of Maria Santos of NC, and Elizabeth and Salome (Meme) Tomar, both of Providence, RI. She was the sister of the Late Gregloria Alexander of NC. She leaves many nieces and nephews and family and friend whom she loved dearly. Her funeral will be held Tuesday, April 26, 2011 visitation will be from 10-11AM followed by Prayer Service at 11 AM in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Burial will be private. Repast: Riviera Inn Restaurant. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) Network Of New England, 30 Hazel Terrace, Woodbridge, CT 06525. I was saddened to hear of the loss of Beverly. I would see her in church and would always ask how she and her sister Elizabeth was. Although my heart hurts, I know your in a much better place. Hopefully your already hanging out with my sister.

You were a true example to us all! You never complained about any of your illnesses. You never wanted anyone to fuss over you. And you always did the things you wanted to do. You wanted to go to the theater-you brought the oxegen tank with you. Wanted to go on a cruise-you found one that treats dialysis patients. You truly enjoyed life!! Thank you for supporting all of my ideas for getting people together-your encouragement over the years really motivated me!! I'm sure everyone will agree that you are a true definition of the word friend!

I'm so glad you excepted Jesus and I would say RIP but I know your probraly exploring heaven so enjoy my friend, enjoy!!!!

Bev you will be sadly missed by all, especially myself. I have not only worked with you for many years and enjoyed many great converstions with you, but I also enjoyed our moday night classes together, our laughs and of course you always supporting our dance team at our shows when you couldnt participate, with your smiles and words or wisdom.
