Edward Garlick Obituary
Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late William and Mary (Tarpey) Garlick. Mr. Garlick was a lithographer for various companies for 24 years, retiring in 1982. He was an air force veteran of the Korean War, an all state athlete at Pawtucket West High School, a pitcher for Local #57 (1957-1958), a former Big Brother, a former Elk, and a former member of the Knights of Columbus.
Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Mary Boyajian of East Greenwich, two sons, Edward Garlick Jr. of Smithfield and John Garlick of Johnston, a brother, Joseph Garlick of Pawtucket, three sisters, Teresa Harkness of Lincoln, Claire Bosma of Florida, and Ann Johnston of Rumford, 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Mary Durst, Kay Plant, William and James Garlick.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Michael Church, 80 Farnum Pike, Smithfield. Burial with military honors will be Mount Saint Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours Friday 5-8 p.m. in the COSTIGAN-O'NEILL FUNERAL HOME, 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, PO Box 96305, Washington, DC, 20093, in memory of Mr. Garlick, would be appreciated.

My father James Peacock grew up with Eddie , my dad was younger but they all hung out in the same neighborhood. My dad told lots of stories about the two of them . Sorry for your loss
