Mrs. Altieri, Donald, and Paul -

I am very saddened to hear of your loss. Mr. Altieri was a hard working, ingenious, and kind person who had a very positive effect on my childhood and on into my adult life.

I remember oen time, many years ago, he took Paul and I to the gravel yard and showed us the equipment he had designed and built. He took great pride in showing us his accomplishments, but more importantly he was teaching Paul and I the values of hard work, commitment, and setting high expectations. He was a quiet but great man, and I will continue to think of him with fond memories.

Peace and Love -

Dear Louise, Paul, Don and Sharon
We were very sorry to read of Franks's passing on line this morning. Just more than a week ago when I was in Rhode Island, I asked Don and commented how lucky he was to have both parents still in his life, but I can assure you the wonderful memories will soon overcome your loss! Your whole family was so wonderful to both Hatch and I when we lost our parents and relatives back in the 90's and we both feel guilty that we are not there to comfort you, but we do share your sorrow and extend out deepest sympathies. God bless Frank, and may the Lord be with all of you in these somber days.

Dear Louise,
Our families wish for you and your family is much Peace knowing that Frank is now touching the face of God! It is said that it is so beautiful in Heaven that we can't even imagine it here. One thing that "death" can't take from us is the Love and memories we all have with him. That is where he will live forever! Do you remember all the times little Ronnie use to spray Popa Frank with the hose and get him soaking wet? He would just laugh and say, "That's all right, we were having fun". Oh, what a wonderful man, indeed! May all the Love and care that you both showed be brought back to you now, 10 fold!

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.
