John Amaral Obituary
83, died Monday, March 6, 2017. He was the beloved husband of Nancy J. (Moore) Amaral; father of Pamela Amaral, Debra Knight (Frank), Jo-Ann Antoniadis (Vasilios), Christine Amaral, Peter Amaral (Tina); step-father of Ronald Tvenstrup (April), Scott Tvenstrup (Lisa), Bryan Tvenstrup, John Kennedy (Darlene), Steven Kennedy, and Matthew Kennedy (Terri). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held, Thursday 9-11 am in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Avenue, Warwick, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 am in St. Rita Church, Oakland Beach Avenue. Dear Pam, Deb, Christine, JoAnn, Joan & Nancy, I'm so sorry and sad to hear that your father, husband and my Godfather has passed. Over the years whenever we ran into each other, he always had a warm friendly smile, a joke, and kind words. A true gentlemen, in other words a "Great Role Model" for me growing up. Nancy,I`m so sorry to hear about John.I`m in Texas for the winter,and won`t bee home till 3/30.Nancy,you and John are in my thoughts and prayers.I`ll always remember the good times at Roger Willams Foods,and laughs we had.John was a good man,and I know he will be missed by ALL.Be strong,that`s what I know John would want.
