Mary Bracken Obituary
93, formerly of Pawtucket and Punta Gorda, Florida, passed away with her family at her side, Sunday evening, November 18, 2018 at the Hattie Ide Chaffee Home. She was the wife of the late Robert V. Bracken Sr.
Born May 2, 1925, in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Rosanna (Gaudreau) LaBrie.
She leaves her 3 children, Jean M. Ricchiute and her husband David of Granger, IN, Karen A. Rossi and her husband Robert of Barrington, and Robert V. Bracken Jr. and his wife Muriel of Warwick; 8 grandchildren, Marc, Shannon, Kristin, Kimberly, Jillian, Christopher, Robert Andrew, and Dylan; and 8 great grandchildren, Grace, Mia, Eva, Lea, Charlotte, Abigail, Charles Louis and Graham. She was predeceased by her infant granddaughter Kara and by her siblings, Loretta DeNoncour, Jeanette Lavoie, and Albert LaBrie.
Her funeral will begin Monday, November 26, at 8:45am from the Rebello Funeral Home and Crematory, 901 Broadway, East Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Luke's Church, 108 Washington Rd., Barrington. Burial will follow at the RI Veterans Cemetery. Calling hours are Sunday afternoon, 2pm until 5pm in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are greatly appreciated to the Hattie Ide Chaffee Activities Fund, 200 Wampanoag Trail, East Providence, RI 02915.
