RITA RINEHART Obituary

RINEHART, RITA M. (GIANNI), 89, of Capitol Ridge, Smith Street, died Monday at Roger Williams Medical Center. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert E. Rinehart.

Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, she was a daughter of the late Giuseppe and Agatina (Milani) Gianni. Mrs. Rinehart was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She leaves a son, Charles Rinehart and his wife Cynthia of North Tustin, California; a daughter, Carol Minahan and her husband, John of Providence, RI; grandchildren, Dr. Joseph Rinehart and his wife, Dr. Janine Chamberlin, Kimberly Montgomery, and her husband, Hans Montgomery, Michael Rinehart, Scott Wilson, Katherine Minahan and Sean Minahan; two great-grandchildren, Alexander Montgomery and Avery Rinehart, sister-in-law, Irene Gianni and brother-in-law, Charles Rinehart and his wife, Marilyn. She was a sister of the late Peter Gianni, Ersilia Dunn, Julia Mayer and Lola Gianni.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday morning, at 10:00am in St. Pius V Church, Eaton Street, Providence, to which relatives and friends are invited. In lieu of flowers donations to St. Pius V School, 55 Elmhurst Avenue, Providence, RI 02908 in her memory will be appreciated. Boyleandsonfuneralhome.com
