Thomas Borges Obituary

BORGES, THOMAS K., 50, of Lawrence St., died Sunday at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. He was the companion of Veronica Ramsay.

Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Joseph and Josephine (Collier) Borges. He had lived in Providence for 25 years.

Thomas was an auto mechanic at LaPolla Motors in Cranston, retiring five years ago. He was the former proprietor of Truck Electric of Johnston. He loved his motorcycle.

Besides his companion, he leaves a step-daughter, Tiffany Ramsay of Providence; a brother, Leonard Borges in Rhode Island; and a grandson, Thomas Ramsay. He was brother of the late Joseph W. Borges.

His funeral will be held Saturday at 11 AM in the ROBBINS FUNERAL HOME, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence. Calling hours Friday 5-8 PM. Burial in Highland Memorial Park.

I just wanted you to know how sorry i am.Tommy was always in the fondest of my childhood memories and i will never forget him.He was lucky to have you ,and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
