Greencastle - Elaine G. Martin
Elaine G. Martin age 73, of Greencastle, PA died Monday afternoon November 26, 2018 in her home.
Born August 11, 1945 in Easton, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Allen and Cora (Horst) Martin. She was the step -daughter of Louise F. Martin of Hagerstown, MD.
She married her husband Miller E. Martin on November 15, 1969.
Elaine was a homemaker and a member of the Waynecastle Mennonite Church.
Surviving family in addition to her step-mother and husband are her children Wilbur L. Martin and wife Marie of Greencastle, Dortha J. Horst and husband James of Jeffersonville, OH, Irvin L. Martin and wife Charlotte of Greencastle, Clair R. Martin and wife Jennette of Greencastle, Alice M. Martin and husband Elon of Greencastle, Lawrence E. Martin and wife Rebecca of Greencastle, Clyde W. Martin and wife Sylvia of Greencastle; thirty-two grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, one step-great-granddaughter; two sisters, Miriam Hostetter of Hagertsown, MD, Ethel Miller of Waynesboro, PA and one brother Donald Martin of Hagerstown, MD.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother Carlton Martin and two brothers-in-law, Nelson Hostetter and Richard Miller.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday November 29 at 10:00 AM at the Waynecastle Mennonite Church 10617 Five Forks Rd, Waynesboro, PA with the Waynecastle Mennonite Church Ministry officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church today from 1:00 - 3:00 PM and 6:00 - 8:00 PM and one hour before the service on Thursday. The family requests that flowers be omitted. Arrangements were handled by the Harold M. Zimmerman And Son Funeral Home of Greencastle.
