Larry Walters Obituary
Shade Gap - Larry G. Walters, 72, died Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at the Fulton County Medical Center, McConnellsburg. Born January 17, 1946 at Shade Gap, he was a son of the late Wilburt and Alfaretta (Cisney) Walters.
He is survived by his companion, Debbie Price, at their home; two sons, Jason Walters and wife, Michelle and Eric Walters and wife, Jessica, all of Shade Gap; and four grandchildren, Evan, Macie, Owen and Ellie Walters. One brother, Edward Walters and four sisters, Arlene Shoop, Freda Barton, Lila Hampton and Virginia Walters, preceded in death.
Mr. Walters attended the Fair Ridge Assembly of God Church, RD, Shade Gap. He was a member of the Pennsylvania Groundwater Association.
He owned and operated Walters & Sons Well Drilling, Shade Gap, for the last 40 years.
He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, racing, car shows and going to area restaurants and visiting with people while there.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Monday, June 11, 2018 at the Fair Ridge Assembly of God Church, 22776 Piper Lane, Shade Gap. Interment will be made at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, RD Shade Gap. Friends may call at the church 6 to 8 PM on Sunday and one hour prior to the service on Monday. Arrangements are under the direction of the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, Orbisonia.
