Adam C. Philp

1989 - 2022

Adam C. Philp, 32, of Punxsutawney, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 29, 2022, at his home.
He was born Dec. 31, 1989, to Bryant and Susan (Reitz) Philp in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
Adam was a graduate of Linganore High School in Frederick, Maryland, and then went on to receive his Bachelor of Science degree from IUP.
Adam worked as an account manager for American Association of Laboratory Accreditation. He enjoyed playing and following basketball, hunting, spending time in the outdoors and was an avid Steelers fan.
He is survived by his parents; a sister, Heather N. Allen and husband Nathan, New Market, Maryland; a brother, Tyler M. Philp, Charleston, South Carolina; a niece, Annabelle R. Allen; maternal grandparents, Melvin Reitz and wife Virginia, Ohl; aunts and uncles Peg Reitz, Punxsutawney, Betty Leasure and husband Ed, Marion Center, Joe Reitz and wife Darla, Conifer, Richard Reitz, Ohl, Tom Reitz, Coolspring, John Lamb and wife Jennifer, Ravenel, South Carolina, and Scott Philp and wife Karen, Mechanicsburg; and numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Stephanie Philp, and his paternal grandparents, Dr. Fred and Judy Philp of Brookville.
Friends will be received on Thursday from 3 p.m. until the time of service at 7 p.m. at the McCabe Funeral Home Inc., 114 Maple Ave., Punxsutawney, PA 15767, with Rev. Randy Hall officiating.
