Glenn "Steve" Stapleton
February 18, 1957-September 1, 2022
DES MOINES-Glenn "Steve" Stapleton, 65, of Des Moines, passed away Thursday, September 1, 2022 in Des Moines, after a short battle with cancer. The VA Hospital will be assisting the family, no services are planned at this time.
Steve was born February 18, 1957 to Glen and Wilma Stapleton in Des Moines. Steve attended Lincoln High School in Des Moines, then joined the Air Force. Steve married Shelly Moen in 1974 and they had 3 children, Jeff, Brian and Christina, they later divorced. In 1996,Steve married Kim Farless in Buffalo, IA, they divorced in 2017.
Steve is survived by his children: Brian of Des Moines, IA, Christina of Collins, IA, Cory Ebberson of Viola, IL and 4 grandchildren, Brice, Madison, Jenna and Brock. Siblings: Deborah (Jim) Kingkade of Ackworth, IA, Mary Bailey, Jeff (Debbie) Stapleton and Kim Davis, all of Davenport, IA and several nieces and nephews.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents, son Jeff and nephew Jeff Davis.
