Richard Long Obituary


Richard R. Long Jr., 66, of Shillington, passed June 2nd, in Reading Hospital.

He was the husband of Karen J. (Haas) Long.

Born in Reading, Pa., he was the son of Richard R. Long Sr. and Catharine (Fisher) Long.

Richard worked for CarTech, Reading, for 42 years as a crane operator.

He is also survived by three sons: Christopher M., Casey R. and Corey A. Long; and four grandchildren.

A memorial service and visitation will be held Friday, June 15th, in Henninger Funeral Home Inc., from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Interment will be Saturday, June 16th, in Cressona Cemetery. Please meet at Henninger Funeral Home at 9:30 a.m. Saturday to follow procession.
