Her husband, Ralph G. Hill Jr., preceded her in death
in 1998. They met in 1941 while he was taking a special Masters Course in Business at Penn created by the Army to turn recent College graduates into Officers in preparation for World War II. They eloped on December 8, 1941, assuming he would be sent overseas immediately. After the war they settled in his hometown of Reading, Pennsylvania.
Sally brought her Southern charm with her and became a great cook and hostess. Conga lines could be spotted outside her home during the great Hill parties of the fifties and sixties. She was fun-loving and known for her acerbic wit which remained with her until the end.
She had a long and successful career as a travel agent and worked into her seventies. She loved to arrange custom vacations anywhere in the world for her clients. She traveled extensively, especially loving her trips to Japan and to Iran to see the Shah's jewels. Her favorite trip was when she and Ralph visited the town in Germany that he was in charge of rebuilding as part of his command in Military Government after World War II. The town treated them like royalty.
She was a devoted step-daughter to Frances Frazier, caring for her until her death at age 101.
She was also active in the Community, serving on many Boards and devoting many years to the Junior League of Reading, for which she served as a President in the fifties.
She was a longtime member of Atonement Lutheran Church, Wyomissing.
She is survived by her daughter, Lynne Wenz and her husband, Horst Wenz, residing in Hendersonville, North Carolina; her daughter, Diane Hill of Wyomissing, Pa.; her granddaughter, Cindy Smith of Chicago, Illinois; and her beloved Granddog, Annie Hill.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Callilee Dillard; her father, Virgil H. Frazier; her step-mother, Francis F. Frazier; and her twin sons, Ralph and David Hill who died shortly after their birth in 1955.

Such a wonderful and funny woman. I used to do her nails and we always laughed through her appointments. I loved her sense of humor and her wisdom. She will be missed. Thoughts and prayers to her family.
